Breakfast in under 10 minutes - Green Glow Smoothie Bowl with Toasted Seeds
Drinking your smoothies are great, but pouring them into a bowl, sprinkling over your favourite toppings and eating with a spoon is even better! Of course this is only if you have time, but it makes the whole process of eating it much more enjoyable and better for digestion as it encourages you to chew each spoonful rather than gulp it down. This is a wonderful green smoothie full of goodness. Below are some optional extras if, like me, you love your potions and powders!
Ingredients
Small handful frozen or fresh spinach
1 stick celery
1 kiwi, peeled
2 soft dates, pitted
½ ripe avocado
1 tsp fresh ginger root, grated
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
250ml coconut water or milk of choice
2 ice cubes (if using fresh spinach)
Optional extras if you have them:
1 tsp organic coconut or MCT oil
1 tbsp chia seeds
1 tbsp flaxseed
1 tsp maca powder
1 tsp ashwaganda powder
Method
1. Add all ingredients into a high-speed blender and blitz until smooth.
2. Pour into a bowl and top with toasted seeds and any other toppings of choice
