Anti-Inflammatory Blueberry, Chia & Cinnamon Smoothie

The anti-inflammatory and antioxidant health benefits of berries are nothing new, so this recipe is simply a record of my favourite berry smoothie combination! Most berry smoothies contain banana which adds creaminess, but I often find these very filling. So I’ve added a dollop of yoghurt instead to bring a natural sweetness and creaminess.

Anti-Inflammatory Blueberry, Chia & Cinnamon Smoothie Servings: 1-2 Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients

50g frozen blueberries
50g frozen raspberries
small handful spinach, washed
1 tbsp chia seeds
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tbsp greek or coconut yoghurt
150ml unsweetened almond milk
1 tbsp almond butter
1 tbsp acai powder (optional)

Method

1. Add all of the ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth & creamy.
